Intro

Robin Leach: "The producers of Sledge Hammer! have asked me to explain tonight's episode. Let me be frank -- it is an attempt to boost the ratings.

Act One [Bossa Nova, California] A military truck travels along a windy road. In the front passenger seat, an officer radios in saying that he has passed the checkpoint. Then, to his surprise, there are six women in bikinis playing volleyball with a net set up in the middle of the road. After the two U.S. Army officers get out to see what the hell is going on, one bikini-clad woman says that they are just trying to have fun. She then throws the volleyball at an officer. After the ball falls on the ground, a small hatch on the ball opens to let out a pink gas which consumes the two officers. After they fall to the ground, the six women grab their gas masks and take over the truck. [Trunk's office] Trunk is congratulating Hammer on apprehending some suspects without violence. Hammer, acting out of character, accepts Trunk's thanks. Doreau states how proud she is of Hammer. As the two are about to kiss... [Sledge's apartment] Sledge wakes up screaming for "a terrible nightmare." He grabs his gun and holds it to his heart. [Police station] As Hammer is about to enter Trunk's office (with a sign saying "DO NOT DISTURB", Officer Mayjoy stops him and says there is a top-secret meeting going on with some "army brass". Sledge says, "I'm sure they're expecting me," and proceeds to open the locked door. Unable, he pulls out his gun and to shoot the knob. [Trunk's office] Inside General Mills is telling Trunk and Doreau how he must about complete privacy and security. A younger officer stands motionless in the background. [Gunshot 1] Hammer enters, looks around, and says, "Wait a minute. You planning an invasion without telling me?" After Hammer states his purpose and Trunk calm Mills down, Sledge proceeds to compliment the general on "what you guys did in Grenada." As Trunk tries to shut Hammer up, Mills says that Hammer reminds himself of when he was a young man. Mills then brings Hammer up to date about how a "class D warhead" was en route to a secret test site when the truck was intercepted by a team of women in bikinis. Hammer says this never would've happened if it weren't for fine soldiers like the young soldier standing in the background. Mills informs Hammer that this was the soldier that betrayed his country. Hammer starts yelling and shaking the soldier, but Trunk yells to stop Sledge. Mills angrily growls that he can't even trust his own men. "There's a bomb out there, and I want it back! This is priority one red alert!" [Another police station room] Doreau is questioning the betraying officer to help identify one of the terrorists. She is completing a computer generated portrait. Sledge objects to computers of course until the officer "recognizes" the portrait printout. The officer says her name is "Scarlett O'Hara." Officer Daley that enters the room to tell Hammer they are about to tow his car away. The portrait catches her eye. She recognizes remembers her from an aerobics class at a Jill Taylor's Fitness Center. [Jill Taylor's Fitness Center] Hammer goes to question Jill Taylor. Despite the receptionist's plea, Hammer barges in on Taylor recording another videotape, "The Las Vegas Showgirls Fitness Program."

Act Two

• Reporting for duty, sir. Inspector Sledge Hammer, and this is my platoon.
• A bunch of women with a lethal warhead. Just look at all the damage they can do with one credit card.
• Listen, lady. I'm a man. I can do anything you can do... except conceive.
• I got pains in places I didn't even know I had places.
• Now that's the kind of government I like. They don't back down. They don't give in to blackmail.
• I bet you don't have any boyfriends.
• Why did you do it? So you could finance some army of Amazon women to take over America and make us all watch soap operas and tie up the phones all day? Was that it?
• Just like a woman... always changing her mind.
